Warranty Information

At Barnhill Desks, we stand behind the quality of our products. The Brancaster Executive Writing Desk comes with a 60-day manufacturer warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. Please note that this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any visible damages not noted upon delivery, as these will be determined to be customer damage and are not warranted.

 

Extend Protection Plan:

For added peace of mind, we offer an extended warranty through Extend. This optional protection plan picks up where the manufacturer’s warranty leaves off, providing coverage for accidental damage such as stains, rips, heat marks, and more. With Extend, you can choose the coverage duration that best suits your needs, and claims are processed quickly, often within 90 seconds through their 24/7 online assistant. This plan ensures that your investment is protected long after the initial warranty expires, allowing you to enjoy your furniture worry-free.

Shipping Policy

 

General Order Processing and Shipping:

Our suppliers are located in Texas, Florida, Georgia, California, Montana, North Carolina, and New York. We ship directly from the supplier to you. If your item is in stock, we will charge your credit card and dispatch the order within 3 to 10 business days. We use UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and other carriers for larger items requiring LTL (Less-than-truckload) shipping. Delivery times vary by carrier. Should any delays arise, we will inform you and update your expected delivery time. You will receive a tracking number via email within 24 hours after your order ships. If you don't receive tracking information within this timeframe, please contact us at orders@barnhilldesks.com or use our online chat.

 

Standard shipping is free across the contiguous US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). We do not offer international shipping.

White Glove Delivery Options (LTL Shipments only):

  • Room of Choice: Delivery to any room, up to two flights of stairs, for $100.
  • Package Removal: Includes Room of Choice delivery plus package disposal for $200.
  • Assembly: Includes Room of Choice delivery, package removal, and light assembly for $250. This premium service ensures your furniture is set up exactly where you want it without any hassle.

Insurance and Peace of Mind:

Your items are fully insured from our warehouse to your doorstep. If any item is damaged during transit, we cover the replacement costs. 

Damages and Returns:

Upon delivery, please inspect your items immediately. If any damage is found, take photos and report it within 30 days of product receipt to qualify for a replacement or adjustment. See our Return Policy. For LTL shipments, note any damages on the bill of lading. Keep all packaging until the item is confirmed in good condition. Our insurance covers these incidents, and we aim to resolve claims within three weeks.

If you need to return an item, please refer to our return policy. Orders cannot be canceled or redirected after shipping. Do not refuse delivery of undamaged goods as this may incur restocking fees and shipping costs, and may affect your eligibility for a refund.

Return & Refund Policy

Return Eligibility

  • All returns or claims for defects must be made within 60 business days from the date you receive your merchandise.
  • Items must be returned in their original ACME packaging without any writing or alterations.
  • We do not accept returns on products that are used, previously displayed, or assembled.

 

Defective Merchandise

  • If you encounter a defect in your product, please report the issue within 60 business days. After 60 days there is no service. NO EXCEPTION
  • Defective items must be reported with photographic evidence and a copy of your receipt sent to returns@barnhilldesks.com.
  • Upon verification, defective merchandise will be eligible for return, exchange, or store credit, depending on your preference.

 

Initiating a Return

  • To initiate a return or to report a defect, please provide photos of the issue and a copy of your receipt to returns@barnhilldesks.com.
  • For merchandise damaged in transit, inspect the package upon delivery and note any damages on the carrier’s bill of lading before signing. Report the damage within 15 business days to begin the replacement or refund process.

 

Non-Returnable Items

  • Returns due to customer remorse or aesthetic dissatisfaction are not accepted.

 

Refund Process

  • Upon approval of a return or damage claim, we will arrange for a replacement. No cash refunds are provided; we offer exchanges or store credit instead.
  • The exchanged or replacement process can take up to three weeks from the date of claim approval.
